Color scheme: bright, intense rainbow shades and warm and cool neutrals
Design style: Modern, eclectic, inspired by street art, and manmade and natural shapes. Patterns reminiscent of grafitti writing, heavy paintbrush strokes, diamond plate sheet metal, coffee cup rings on a newspaper, and other urban motifs.

This bundle includes 42 2-1/2 inch by Width of Fabric squares. Some fabrics will be duplicated.

As always, I double wrap your fabrics to help protect against potential weather damage during transit.

About the Designer: Leslie is an artist who creates contemporary quilts and designs fabric by working directly onto cloth using ProcionMX fiber-reactive dye and paint. Growing up in Kansas she was influenced early by her grandmother, a seamstress and quiltmaker.

Unconventional objects are frequently used to generate imagery. Everyday observations of her garden and travels often inform her work. She is inspired by an eclectic mix of repeating shapes in both natural and man-made environments, street art in the form of graffiti, gritty layers of torn posters, paint, sprayed stencils, and cracks.

A maker all her life and quiltmaker since the early 80’s, she gave up a career in nursing and embraced art full time when she and her husband moved their family to San Antonio in 1997. Her work has won awards and been shown internationally, and is in private and corporate collections.

Leslie is a happy member of a rather eccentric family of artists and nerds. What could be better?!
